Or perhaps more importantly….. how to love yourself FULLY. Yes there is a difference.
Techniques are Temporary
Most techniques to love yourself are ways to change how your mind sees you. Like affirmations – if you repeat them often enough maybe your mind will believe that you love yourself.
It’s always nice to do nice things for yourself. A nice bath with bubble bath and candles. A night out with friends – just for fun. A wellness day – taking a day off just because you feel good!
But how long do the good feelings last? What happens the next time something ‘bad’ happens?
Loving yourself using these kinds of techniques is great…. but it still depends on doing something to make yourself feel good.
Loving Yourself is a State of Being – not a Technique
What if you could learn how to love yourself in a way that was lasting. Learn how to love yourself that ultimately is no longer even dependent on doing anything. I am talking about reaching a state of Being in which you genuinely feel good about yourself – without even trying. It just is naturally the way you are.

Learning how to love yourself is like remembering who you were as a very young child before you learned to doubt yourself. It’s like being that child who lost a toy, throws a fit and then finds another toy and is just as happy again.
As you re-learn how to love yourself you can re-connect with your true essence – that natural joy and aliveness you had as a young child. You know what I’m talking about. Even if your childhood was challenging, you still remember those moments of pure joy. But now, as an adult, this innate, natural joy can be even more intense and wonderful because you also have the richness of your life.
